Our Story
We were a company that was born out of a love for design, repurposing and highlighting a homes inherent beauty. We put that level of detail and attention into every product and life we touch. Renovating not only restores the house, but also restores the story of the home and the neighborhood. We believe if you want to respect an old house, it's important to keep the philosophy of the builder in mind. You can honor it by restoring its original state or you can honor it by restoring its original intention.
Meet the Designer
Amanda Noeldechen
While working in the corporate world, Amanda followed her passion for design and real estate. She began investing in real estate right out of college and was hands on throughout every step of the design and construction of the her properties. She has owned and operated Restoring Home and Loves Street Vintage, which specialized in high end residential design and construction, as well as custom furniture line and a curated home collection. She has worked with many local investors in San Diego providing design, construction and project management support. She is the Co-Founder of Rise Up Residential and CARE Property Advisors. She is considered one of the leading residential designers and project managers in the industry and has built a robust team at Investing by Design to support a tremendous portfolio of projects.
